A car accident in 2019 resulted in both my arms being broken and in casts. The other driver was at fault. I required round-the-clock care provided by my husband. He was away from work six weeks. He took care of every aspect of my daily life, from feeding to toileting. We also paid for childcare for our granddaughter to replace the care I had previously provided. The money received by insurance did not begin to cover the expenses incurred due to this accident, not to mention my inability to carry on any semblance of a normal life.
