Thomas F. (“Tom”) Martello, Jr. has practiced law in Ohio since 1992. He is a graduate of Yale University (B.A. 1987, English, Distinction in Major), and of Capital University Law School (J.D. 1990, Cum Laude, Law Review Articles Editor). Tom is an experienced litigator in a wide variety of areas. He has successfully tried many criminal and civil cases, and he has been successful in the court of appeals. As an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio, he prosecuted death penalty habeas corpus appeals in United States District Court, and argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. In private practice, in addition to his personal injury and criminal experience, he has participated in major asbestos litigation, both at the trial and appellate court levels.
Tom is an active parishioner at St. Mary’s Church in German Village. He and his wife, Suzanne, have 3 sons and 1 daughter. Despite the fact that he and David have been friends for some time, Tom is a fan of the Cincinnati Reds.
